Product description:

The interface isPro Gate connects devices which already include a RS-232 interface to PROFIBUS in an inexpensive and easy way. It enables an access without any hardware changes to existing products. As well it can be integrated into the device with an add-on board. The serial communication protocol of the RS-232 connection is adaptable to the special needs of any customer.
An exceptional feature is the inclusion of the acyclic services of PROFIBUS DP-V1 (MSAC2).
The interface can be rail- or wall-mounted.
